Mr. Vales mastery of world building and creating characters of depth and background makes you feel as though you're part of the story.
The dark forces have been taking over kingdoms by force or by concession for their lives. Battles have been waged and lives have been lost. Treachery is around every corner. Although it saddens me I feel hopeful that the powers of light are making a stand. Some of the Prince and Princesses have made it to Dracengard with their dracenstones but what are these stones? Why are they so important to the battle for Middle Realm?
I fear the dark forces are growing stronger...and the worst is yet to come!

The Dracengard Series ROCKS!!! The Princes and Princesses journeys are incredible. The fight for mankind, the legends and myths, the beasts, the losses and gains, make this one of the best books I have EVER read! Each character brings so much to the story, you can't help but fall in love with each one and keep turning the page to find out what awaits them. Ended perfectly, you know what is on the horizon but you don't know what's going to happen....makes you want so much more!! I will be anxiously awaiting the next book!!
This series of Dracengard is well worth reading. There is constant turmoil and unexpected changes and theories. With the eight realms split between good and bad and more characters becoming part of this series no one knows which way it will go. Yes there are angels and they are good. The dragons are a big surprise since they come from something you would not expect but they are good also. Mr. Vale did an excellent job of coming up with characters that you would not even think about. This is well written and the ending of Book 4 leaves you in suspense and waiting for the next series to come out.
